FAQ

At Big Bins we can usually deliver a skip on the very same day you call, however, to guarantee same day delivery please call by midday. If we are unable to deliver that day, we will always do our best to deliver or exchange you skip the next morning.

Terms of hire are 14 days from the delivery date, skips may be collected automatically if we are unable to gain contact with the person/company hiring the skip. If you do require to keep your skip longer please do let us know and we can arrange a longer hire period.

Our experts drivers are happy to place your skip on your own private property any where you deem fit as long as it is safe to do so. Once the skip is place in its location by a member of our staff we urge our clients not to move it. By the moving the skip you could prevent us from being able to either exchange or collect your skip once it is full.
To place a skip on the road or any public land a permit from your local council is required. Our expert team can arrange this for you including any parking bay suspensions necessary. If you require your skip to be placed on the road please call us for an accurate quote.

The short answer is no, all loaded skips must be level with the top of the skip. If we deem the skip to be over loaded we may ask you to remove items to make it level, in extreme circumstances we will refuse to take the skip away until it is made safe and secure for transit.
